Our take on the eternal Negroni swaps gin for mezcal, bringing campfire smoke to the bitter-sweet balance. Cocchi Vermouth di Torino is specified — its slight bitterness and herbal notes pair exceptionally with the mezcal's smoke.

Ingredients
- 2 ozMezcal
- 1 ozCocchi Vermouth di Torino
- ¾ ozCampari
Method
- 1.Combine mezcal, Cocchi vermouth, and Campari in a mixing glass
- 2.Fill with ice and stir until well chilled, about 20-25 seconds
- 3.Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube
- 4.Express orange peel over the drink, run along the rim, and drop in
