Rhubarb Bourbon Smash

Tart, fresh, and crushable

A seasonal smash that pairs bourbon's warmth with the sharp tang of rhubarb syrup and bright lemon. Muddled mint lifts the whole thing into something crushable over ice on a warm evening.

Ingredients

  • 2 ozBourbon
  • ¾ ozRhubarb syrup
  • ¾ ozFresh lemon juice
  • 4-5 Fresh mint leaves

Method

  1. 1.Gently muddle mint leaves in a shaker
  2. 2.Add bourbon, rhubarb syrup, and lemon juice
  3. 3.Fill with ice and shake hard for 10-15 seconds
  4. 4.Strain into a rocks glass over crushed ice
